Volunteering in the local community has been an important part of Chris’ life since an early age. When tornados ravaged his hometown of Marble Falls in the Texas Hill Country in the early 90’s, Chris asked his father to drive him to the local school to help rebuild with other community volunteers.

Participating in volunteer organizations would continue to play a dominant role in his life. Leadership opportunities in Church communities and Alumni organizations gave Chris the opportunity to play a larger role as time passed.
